I didn’t learn Islamic art from a textbook. I absorbed it. It was stitched into the clothes I wore, woven into the carpets beneath my feet, framed on the walls of my childhood home. Before I understood symmetry, I felt it. Before I studied pattern, I lived inside it. This piece grew from that quiet inheritance.
